Green Week Mission
Green Week
concept, introduced by Rtn. Rajendrakumar Saraf, is a structured environmental
initiative designed to bridge the gap between awareness and action. Rather than
focusing on grand, overwhelming goals, it emphasizes a manageable,
habit-forming approach to sustainability.
Core Philosophy
The primary objective of the Green Week is to encourage individuals and
organizations to implement one specific action per week to systematically
reduce their Carbon, Water, Resource, Waste & ecological footprint. By
breaking down sustainability into weekly themes, the concept aims to mitigate
climate change through collective, incremental progress.
Key Focus Areas
The initiative focuses on three critical pillars of environmental impact:
• Carbon Footprint: Reducing energy consumption and emissions.
• Water Footprint: Conserving water resources and improving usage efficiency.
• Waste Footprint: Minimizing waste generation and promoting circular economy
practices.
• Fellowship with Nature: Cultivating deep ecological connections to protect
& conserve.
